Toni Gonzaga Celebrates 10th Year Showbiz Anniversary with a Concert Called “TONI G. @ 10”


Toni Gonzaga dubs her showbiz career as the most fulfilling journey of her life and her concert “TONI G. @ 10” as a celebration of her decade long showbiz journey.

The whole concert is a reflection of Toni’s ten years of showbiz journey, according to her, “The whole idea of the concert becoming a journey is everyone’s idea.”

At the age of thirteen Toni Gonzaga tried to join showbiz via a singing contest but her biggest break was her “I love you, Piolo” soft drinks commercial. She became a main-stay host in the afternoon variety show Eat Bulaga ang transferred to ABS-CBN in 2005 appearing first in “Wazzup Wazzup” before hosting “Pinoy Big Brother,” “The Buzz,” and “Happy Yipee Yehey.”

But Toni refused to stop there, she maximized her abilities with the help of ABS-CBN and earned the title, “ultimate multimedia star” to quote her, “When I transferred to ABS they didn’t just make me host, they also made me sing, they made me dance, and they made me act.”

She became a part of many movies such as “Pakners” in 2003, “D’Anothers” in 2006, “You Are The One” in 2006, “You Got Me” in 2007, “My Big Love” and “My Only You” in 2008, “A Journey” and “Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round” in 2009, “My Amnesia Girl” in 2010, and “Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi” this year, 2011.

Toni is a certified “ultimate multimedia star” with her five-chart topping albums in the past years, “Love Duets,” “Love is,” “Falling In Love,” “You Complete Me,” and her latest self-titled album, “Toni Gonzaga.”

She has earned the right to celebrate her tenth year in show business at the biggest dome in the Philippines-the Araneta Coliseum this coming September 30.

“TONI G. @ 10” is directed by “ASAP Live” director Mr. M (Johnny Manahan) and ex-Neocolor’s Jimmy Antiporda as musical director and is produced by Star Events, Epic Entertainment, and Tag Concept.

Guests of “TONI G. @ 10” namely Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Vhong Navarro, Pokwang, Alex Gonzaga, and Gary V are people who have contributed to who Toni is and to where she is standing now.

Toni is proof that dreams do come true as long as you don’t stop pursuing it, the “I love you, Piolo girl” on a soft drinks commercial, after ten years, gets to perform on her dream stage and with the people who matter to her the most.

More surprises are in store for those who will watch her concert. No one can deny that Toni Gonzaga, after ten years, is moving forward, stronger and better.
